  • 1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk or coconut water
  • 1 handful fresh spinach
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flaxseeds
  • 1 scoop plant-based protein powder
  • 1 serving vegan collagen booster blend
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter or cashew butter
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries or strawberries
  • A pinch of turmeric (optional)

Method
 

  1. Prepare your liquid base: Start by pouring 1.5 cups of your chosen liquid into the blender.
  2. Add the greens and seeds: Place your handful of spinach and tablespoon of chia seeds into the liquid. Blend on low for ten seconds.
  3. Incorporate the boosters: Add your plant-based protein powder and vegan collagen booster, along with nut butter and any spices.
  4. Add the frozen fruit: Finally, add the frozen berries.
  5. Blend until smooth: Gradually increase the speed to high, processing for about 45 to 60 seconds.
  6. Adjust consistency: If too thick, add more almond milk; if too thin, add extra frozen berries or ice cubes.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Pour into a glass and garnish with fresh berries or hemp hearts.

Notes

It's best to use frozen fruit rather than fresh fruit with ice for a creamier texture. Soaking chia seeds in almond milk for 10 minutes can improve the mouthfeel.
