- Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin powder evenly over the cold water in a small bowl. Let sit for 5-10 minutes to bloom.
- While the gelatin blooms, gently heat the second portion of water (or chosen liquid) in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until hot but not boiling.
- Add the bloomed gelatin to the hot liquid and whisk continuously until fully dissolved and clear.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly for 5-10 minutes.
- Pour into mold or dishes and refrigerate for 2-4 hours or overnight until set.
- Once set, use as desired.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality gelatin. Ensure accurate measurements for proper setting.
