Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish or similar casserole dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the refried beans, softened cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, 1 cup of the Mexican blend cheese, and the chopped green chiles until well combined.
  3. Spread the bean mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Top with the remaining 1 cup Mexican blend cheese, cheddar cheese, black olives, and green onions.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted.
  6. Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving with tortilla chips.

Notes

For a spicier dip, add diced jalapeños or use hot taco seasoning. You can also garnish with fresh cilantro or serve with extra toppings like diced tomatoes or salsa.
