- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cocoa powder, protein powder, flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt, whisking until no lumps remain.
- In a separate bowl, mix the plant-based milk, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined without overmixing.
- Fold in any optional mix-ins if desired.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely before slicing into squares.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week. Freeze individually for 2-3 months.
