Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk or plant-based alternative
  • 4 oz high-quality white chocolate
  • 1/2 tsp natural pink colorant (beet powder or pitaya powder)
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • pinch of sea salt
  • optional: adaptogens (ashwagandha or reishi powder)

Method

  1. Pour the chosen milk into a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Finely chop the white chocolate bar.
  3. Once tiny bubbles form around the edges of the milk, reduce the heat to low.
  4. Whisk in the chopped white chocolate gradually until melted.
  5. Add the pink natural coloring and whisk vigorously.
  6. Incorporate the vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt.
  7. If using a frother, aerate the mixture for about 30 seconds.
  8. Pour the mixture into a prepared mug.

Notes

Temperature control is crucial to avoid grainy chocolate. Sift the color powder for a smooth hue. Choose high-quality chocolate with cocoa butter.
