Ingredients
  

  • 2 large Fresh Navel Oranges
  • 1 medium Frozen Banana
  • 1/2 cup Full-Fat Coconut Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tablespoon Hemp Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Maple Syrup (optional)

Method
 

  1. Zest one of the oranges. Peel both oranges and remove seeds and as much white pith as possible.
  2. Slice the ripe banana and freeze it for at least 4 hours.
  3. Place the orange segments, frozen banana, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and hemp seeds into a blender.
  4. Blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high, for 45-60 seconds until smooth and frothy.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness with maple syrup if needed. If too thick, add more liquid.
  6. Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with reserved orange zest.

Notes

For an eco-friendly twist, use the zest in the smoothie. For lower calories, substitute coconut milk with unsweetened soy yogurt. Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
