Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups of frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries)
  • 1 scoop of high-quality collagen peptides (bovine or marine source)
  • 1 cup of unsweetened plant-based milk (almond, oat, or soy milk)
  • 1/2 a frozen banana or half an avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds or flax seeds
  • A splash of pure vanilla extract
  • Optional: A handful of baby spinach

Method
 

  1. Pour the plant-based milk into the blender.
  2. Add collagen peptides, vanilla extract, and chia or flax seeds.
  3. Add 1.5 cups of frozen berries, slicing any large strawberries in half.
  4. Add frozen banana or avocado on top.
  5. Start blending on low speed, then increase to high for 45 to 60 seconds until smooth.
  6. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with fresh berries or hemp seeds.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, consider adding more frozen berries or a splash more plant milk if too thick. Substitute with vegan collagen if desired.
