Ingredients
  

  • 15-20 fresh lemon verbena leaves
  • 2 scoops hydrolyzed collagen peptides
  • 500 ml filtered water
  • Raw honey or stevia to taste
  • 1 cm slice of fresh ginger root

Method
 

  1. Heat your filtered water to 85°C (185°F).
  2. Place the bruised lemon verbena leaves and ginger into a heat-proof glass vessel.
  3. Pour the heated water over the herbs and cover immediately to steep for exactly 7 minutes.
  4. Strain the infusion into a clean carafe and discard the solids.
  5. While the liquid is still warm, slowly sift in the Lemon Verbena Collagen powder and use a frother to mix.
  6. Add your chosen sweetener while the infusion is still warm enough to dissolve it.
  7. Serve immediately in a double-walled glass or chill over ice.

Notes

Ensure the water temperature is precise to prevent bitterness. Store airtight in the refrigerator; consume within 48 hours.
