Method
 

  1. In a small bowl or glass, whisk together the pumpkin puree, maple syrup or honey, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  2. Add the milk and whisk again until the mixture is well combined and creamy.
  3. Fill a serving glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the cooled chai tea into the glass, then add the pumpkin milk mixture.
  5. Stir well to combine, or pour into a jar with a lid and shake before serving.
  6. Top with whipped cream if desired and finish with a light sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.
  7. Serve immediately while cold.

Notes

Use dairy or any plant-based milk you like. Adjust the sweetener to taste, and add more pumpkin pie spice for a stronger seasonal flavor. For a frothier drink, shake the mixture in a jar before pouring over the ice.
