Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked. Break it into crumbles as it cooks, then drain any excess grease.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream, diced green chilies, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix until well combined.
- Stir the cooked sausage into the cheese mixture, ensuring it's evenly distributed.
- Transfer the mixture into a baking dish (8x8-inch or similar size). Spread it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
- Serve warm with crackers, tortilla chips, or sliced veggies for dipping.
Notes
For a spicier dip, add more cayenne pepper or use spicy sausage. Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
