  • Freeze-Dried Strawberry Powder
  • Fair-Trade Cocoa Powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the vegan butter and cane sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the flax eggs and vanilla extract until smooth and cohesive.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and sea salt, then fold into the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  5. Divide the dough into three equal portions: one plain, one mixed with strawberry powder, and one with cocoa powder.
  6. Press the chocolate dough into the bottom of the pan, followed by the vanilla and then the strawberry layers.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden and center is soft.
  8. Let cool completely in the pan before slicing.
