Method
- Wash the baby spinach thoroughly.
- Grate the fresh ginger until you have a packed teaspoon.
- Place the spinach and ginger at the bottom of the blender.
- Pour the kefir or nut milk over the greens.
- Add the collagen peptides, ground flaxseeds, and other dry supplements.
- Place the frozen wild blueberries and banana chunks on top.
- Start the blender on low speed and gradually increase to high, blending for 45 to 60 seconds.
- If the mixture is too thick, add a splash more water and blend again.
- Pour the smoothie into a chilled glass and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Use frozen fruit instead of ice to maintain flavor and texture. Store leftovers in an airtight mason jar for up to 12 hours. Avoid reheating.
