Method
- Hydrate the sheets in cold water for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Prepare the base by heating the flavored liquid in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Wring out excess water from the hydrated Gelatin sheet.
- Dissolve the Gelatin sheet in the warm liquid and whisk until fully dissolved.
- Temper the mixture if adding to a cold ingredient.
- Combine thoroughly and pour into molds.
- Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours until set.
Notes
Be mindful of fresh tropical fruits that can weaken Gelatin, and always use cold water for blooming.
