Fourth of July Brownie Kabobs

Method
 

  1. Bake the brownies according to your favorite recipe or package directions, then let them cool completely so they cut cleanly into cubes.
  2. Cut the brownies into 1-inch bite-sized squares.
  3. Wash and dry the strawberries and blueberries. Halve any large strawberries so the pieces are easy to skewer.
  4. Assemble the kabobs by threading brownie cubes, strawberries, blueberries, and mini marshmallows onto each skewer in any festive pattern you like.
  5. Arrange the finished kabobs on a serving platter.
  6. Drizzle with vanilla frosting or melted white chocolate, then finish with red, white, and blue sprinkles if desired.
  7. Serve immediately, or chill until ready to serve.

Notes

For cleaner cuts, make sure the brownies are completely cooled before cubing. If you want sturdier kabobs, use slightly thicker brownie pieces and smaller fruit pieces.
