Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 4-6 tea bags or 4 teaspoons loose-leaf tea
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar or preferred sweetener
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Method

  1. Bloom the gelatin by pouring 1 cup of cold water into a heat-proof bowl and sprinkling the gelatin powder over it. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring 3 cups of water to a boil, remove from heat, and steep the tea for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Strain the tea to remove the tea bags or leaves.
  4. Return the strained tea to the saucepan, add sugar and sea salt, and stir until dissolved.
  5. Whisk in the bloomed gelatin mixture until fully dissolved.
  6. Pour into molds or a dish, chill at room temperature for 15-20 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Serve chilled.

Notes

Ensure to bloom the gelatin properly in cold water. Adjust sweetness as needed. Serve with fresh berries or mint for an enhanced experience.
