Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional garnishes: Coconut whipped cream, chocolate shavings, fresh mint, cocoa powder

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin powder over the cold water and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to bloom.
  2. Pour the brewed coffee into a medium saucepan, add sugar and salt, and heat over medium-low until dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and pour the mixture into ramekins or molds.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4-6 hours until set.
  6. Serve with garnishes like coconut whipped cream or chocolate shavings if desired.

Notes

Ensure to use freshly brewed coffee for the best flavor. Feel free to use agar-agar for a vegan version.
