- Pour 1/2 cup of cold filtered water into a glass bowl and gently sprinkle the unflavored gelatin powder over the surface, letting it bloom for 5 to 10 minutes.
- While blooming, heat the remaining 1 1/2 cups of water in a saucepan over medium heat until very hot but not boiling.
- Slowly pour the hot water over the bloomed mixture and whisk gently until all granules are dissolved.
- If desired, add honey or agave syrup and whisk until uniform.
- Carefully pour the mixture into molds or a shallow dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
Notes
Use high-quality, grass-fed gelatin for best clarity. Ensure water is filtered to avoid minerals that may cloud the gelatin. Skim any surface foam to maintain transparency.
