Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons dried chamomile flowers, organic, whole-head
  • 1 scoop (10g) hydrolyzed collagen peptides, unflavored, grass-fed
  • 12 ounces filtered water, heated to 200°F (93°C)
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey or stevia, optional
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk, optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, pure bean, alcohol-free preferred

Method
 

  1. Heat 12 ounces of filtered water to 200°F (93°C).
  2. Place chamomile flowers into your French press or infuser and pour heated water over them. Cover and steep for 7 minutes.
  3. Depress the plunger or remove the infuser, and transfer the concentrated tea into a pre-heated ceramic mug.
  4. Gradually sift in the hydrolyzed collagen peptides into the hot liquid.
  5. Use a milk frother at a 45-degree angle to blend for 30 seconds until a thick micro-foam forms.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract and sweetener if desired, incorporating almond milk at this stage if you prefer.

Notes
