Equipment

  • baking dish
  • pastry brush
  • oven

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or sheet pan with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce and ranch dressing until evenly coated.
  3. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms connected if possible. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Evenly spread the buffalo chicken mixture over the bottom buns, then sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top.
  5. Place the top buns over the cheese layer.
  6. Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
  7. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through and the tops are lightly golden.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool for 2 to 3 minutes, then sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, use rotisserie chicken and serve with extra ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side. If you prefer less heat, reduce the buffalo sauce slightly and add more ranch dressing.
