Method
- Pour 1 cup of cold water into a heat-proof mixing bowl and sprinkle gelatin powder over it. Let sit undisturbed for 5-10 minutes to bloom.
- While the gelatin blooms, bring 1 cup of fresh water to a rolling boil in a small saucepan.
- Pour the boiling water over the bloomed gelatin and whisk vigorously for 2-3 minutes until completely dissolved.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add whey protein isolate and sweetener, mixing until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into individual serving containers and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
Notes
For best results, accurately bloom the gelatin and maintain temperature control when adding protein. Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
