  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the asparagus under cold water and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. Snap off the woody ends of the asparagus.
  4. Place asparagus in a mixing bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Toss to coat the asparagus evenly.
  6. Spread asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
