- 1 lb (450g) ribeye steak, thinly sliced (or substitute ground beef)
- 12 oz (340g) pasta (penne, rotini, or rigatoni)
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (green & red)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 oz (115g) cream cheese, cubed
- 6 slices provolone cheese, chopped
- ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Red pepper flakes, optional (for heat)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Slice the steak thinly, chop the onions and bell peppers, and cube the cream cheese. Cook pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Cook the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak slices for 2-3 minutes per side, then remove from the pan. (If using ground beef, cook until browned and drain excess fat.)
- Sauté the Veggies: In the same pan, add onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Make the Sauce: Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in cream cheese until melted, then add provolone and cheddar cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Combine Everything: Return the steak to the pan and add the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until fully coated in the cheesy sauce.
- Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with parsley and serve hot with garlic bread or a side salad.
Notes
- Meat Substitutions: Use ground beef, sirloin, or even chicken if preferred.
- Make it Spicy: Add red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
- Extra Creamy: Add a splash of heavy cream or more cheese if desired.
- Make it a Bake: Transfer to a casserole dish, top with extra cheese, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes until bubbly.
