  • 8 bacon strips

  • 4 slices cheddar cheese

  • 4 lettuce leaves

  • 4 tomato slices

  • 1/2 cup caramelized onions

  • 1/4 cup burger sauce (mix of mayo, ketchup, and mustard)

  • 2 tbsp butter (for toasting croissants)

  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Croissant Buns:

    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Slice the croissant buns in half horizontally and lightly butter the cut sides.

    • Toast them in the oven for 5 minutes or until golden and crispy.

  2. Cook the Bacon:

    • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon strips until crispy.

    • Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.

  3. Grill the Beef Patty:

    • Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.

    • Season both sides with salt and pepper.

    • Cook the patties on a grill or skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side.

    • During the last minute, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

  4. Assemble the Burger:

    • Spread burger sauce on the bottom half of each toasted croissant.

    • Layer with lettuce, tomato, beef patty, bacon, and caramelized onions.

    • Top with the other half of the croissant and serve immediately.
