Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (8 rolls) crescent roll dough
- 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix filling: In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well blended.
- Prepare dough: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- Assemble crescents: Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll up tightly, starting from the wide end to the pointed tip.
- Brush with butter: Lightly brush each rolled crescent with melted butter for a golden crust.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, or marinara.
Notes
- Make Ahead: Prepare and refrigerate unbaked crescents for up to 24 hours before baking.
- Freezing Option: Freeze unbaked crescents on a tray, then transfer to a freezer bag. Bake from frozen, adding an extra 5 minutes.
- Cheese Variations: Swap cheddar with mozzarella, pepper jack, or gouda for different flavors.
